Hello readers. This week I have a head full of winter virus, and cloudy heads don’t make for good writing. But it seems I have had just had my 50,000th reader sign up here at the Abbey, and it feels like I ought to do something to mark the occasion. Anyway, I have a few things I’ve been wanting to say to you for a while.
So, in lieu of written words, I’ve recorded a short film, in which I reveal a rather special readers’ gift, talk about the role of the Christian writer in the age of the Machine, and think aloud about what my future will hold here at the Abbey of Misrule.
As a little gesture of thanks to all 50,000 of you, I’ve also knocked 10% off all paid subscriptions for the next month, so that you can read all of my words more affordably. If that sounds appealing, you can click here.
Writing for a living is is a privilege, and every single subscriber is a very particular gift. Blessings to you all. And thank you.
Congratulations and feel better soon.
I will buy the book. Looking forward to it!
